The Importance of Reflective Practice

As part of our two years in the New Faculty Academy, we were taught the importance of reflective practice as educators.  By critically examining our teaching practices, we can better understand ourselves and our students, and identify areas for growth and improvement.  By adopting this growth mindset, we can modify, change or adapt our practices to create the most positive and productive environment possible for our learners.
